“First off, after 10.4.10 and the 1.1 MBP update, NVDANV50Hal was already loading! Is this normal? Was still only getting 1024×768 and 32MB or VRAM, but damn, that suprised me. Showed up as G84 Geforce. Then after modding NVinject and NVDVAN50Hal it would hang at the loginwindow. It did show up as a quadro FX 570m (wow), but it showed VRAM,totalsize=10000000, which surprised me. I had put in my 1024×1024x256 (256MB) in NVinject. Absolutely lock up. Lastly, I went and removed the 10…40 kexts and modded the Geforce kext (which some people apparently modded and others did not. I wasn’t sure as to why this needed to be done because it was an overlay (or so I thought)–something like 0×000010de;0000ffff, but I eliminated both and dropped my 0×040c10de. ”

A couple of updates to our watch project: new DELO prototype has been built with an aluminum enclosure (custom milled on MDX-15) + one additional time theme conceived as a small tribute to John Maeda’s 12 o’clocks reactive book project from 1996. This software timepiece is one of the original inspirations behind DELO and besides, J.M. is quite literally the reason Aeolab has come to be :)
