UFOS are light-up sneakers for grownups. New Balance trainers are retrofitted with an illuminated rear "bumper." Circuitry embedded in the sole senses each foot's motion in 3D space and generates a pulsing gradient of glowing color. Precise translation from action into light results in a visible reflection of the wearer's unique stride.
